On June 6th at 2 PM SLT, the lovely models of AVENUE walked the sky runway to present the exciting designs from the Ramona Collection. Ramona Planer has quickly established herself in Second Life Fashion by creating a full line of styles, from classic to formal, at reasonable prices. Her eye for detail and color has helped her in designing fashions that are appealing to the eye and fun to wear.
A wide selection of styles was shown by the AVENUE Models this day, as they graced the runway in front of a large and appreciative gathering. Everything from skimpy tops with sexy shorts to voluminous full skirted gowns with even some lingerie thrown in were seen. Wonderfully detailed and unique textures abounded, demonstrating the talents of this designer. Ramona’s appreciation for quality and detail was evident in every outfit presented.
Every style had a nice array of offerings, which kept the show lively and interesting. The casual segment included a very nice off the shoulder crop top with horizontal blue and white stripes that left the entire midriff bare. Very casual yet sexy, especially paired with the low rise, cut-off jean shorts. A perfect combination now that summer is here. Of course a number of short dresses and miniskirts were included in the show too.
The lingerie included simple yet elegant bra and panty sets as well as more elaborate ensembles including long diaphanous lace embellishments. The intricate embroidered textures of the bras and panties were a testament to Ramona’s attention to detail. Whether looking for elegant foundation garments or feminine boudoir wear, this collection had it covered.
Formals are normally the highlight of a show and this one was no exception, especially with the variety of gowns included. Most everything from sexy, body hugging sheaths that revealed every curve to full skirted ball gowns of rich and detailed fabrics converged in an impressive display. Almost any look needed was present, alluring, charming, elegant, refined and more.
Overall this show was a treat for the senses. It was evident that the Ramona Collections should be a consideration when shopping for almost any style need. It will be fun and exciting to watch this talented designer to se what she does in the future. In the meantime, enjoy what she has already brought to Second Life.

Raindrops on roses and lazy days at the beach..
The JSP Spring Fashion Expo 2009 wrapped up on May 9 with a splash of warm light and fragrant color by Sascha’s Designs.
AVENUE models Tiffany Dragonash, Temperance Moonites, Kendall Larnia, Natasja Schumann, and Chirzaka Vlodovic fluttered along the runway in waves of lilac bodices, azul skirts, bird feathers and coral gems.. A feast for the senses that can only be inspired by the natural beauty of this season and the promise of sunnier days ahead.
Shown above, Chamonix is in the foreground wearing the Marce Pink, with delicate roses on the bosom cups, playful arm ruffles, and several skirt options that can easily transform this tea party ensemble into a formal gown.
Chirazka is in full bloom wearing the Zuzu Purple; a sheer floral design that wraps around the curves from shoulder to toe; it comes in a layered skirt and a surprise bow at the base of neck to play off your favorite updo.
Below, Natasja is in Rumble Blue; a sleek design in shades of the coral reef. The bodice is a masterpiece in texture and detail. It comes with several skirts, including a mini that cries out for the beach.
The Cou Cou Gold parodies the rays of the golden sun on a perfect summer morning, as the flaring skirt reflects light off your face.
Below, the Antarctica Black takes after the melting snow as it mixes with grit and earth. With a posh velvet skirt and a sheer bodice of snowflakes, it comes complete with gloves, fur stole, nipple hider and three skirt options for lots of styling fun.
For the grand finale, DJ Hakuei Enzo of Scoutlounge rocked the after-party as we rang out the Spring Expo at JSP to make way for a sizzling line-up of AVENUE productions planned for the summer of 2009.

Our latest fashion show for the Best of Italian Style Shopping Centre designers was a runaway success. The venue was filled up early with savvy fashionistas, designers and prominent models in the industry. Crowds cheered and the room filled with oohs and aahs as each AVENUE Model paraded in the latest collections from Baiastice, Beauty Avatar, Bianca F, Bolero Collection, Brenda Clellon, Jador, Lady Thera, Orage Creations paired off perfectly by dancer Dellagio with the ever stylish range of Stiletto Moody shoes. AVENUE Models featured in the fashion show were Mimmi Boa, Luciana Pinazzo, Poptart Lilliehook, Emmz Tzara, Cherie Parker, Tiffany Dragonash, Ella Quinsette, Liane Maertens and Barbarella Fuosing.
The show was hosted in text by Annemarie Perenti, owner of best of Italian Style Shopping Centre and CEO of AVENUE Models Rusch Raymaker in voice who was also the producer and choreographer of the fashion show. This was also a momentous occasion to celebrate the launch of the new BeStyle Magazine for AnneMarie Perenti who is also the Chief Editor of the magazine.
