Rfyre, Marcopol Oh and Magnifico all have Love for McQueen

From big silhouettes to metallic corsets, you name it and designers made it. Even though his life may have been cut short, his inspiration will always lie deep within us all.

While organizing this tribute I was taken back by each designers kind words, quality craftsmanship and time given. With only a week to master an inspiration that for some was a era in the making, I am pleased to share with you three more designs and words of inspiration For the Love of McQueen.

House of Rfyre

“From the first moment my dear friend Harper introduced me to the designs of Alexander McQueen I was struck by his incredible creativity and skill. I was startled that here was someone with a mastery & style which I had always aspired to. It was heartbreaking to learn that he chose to leave this world and am deeply saddend by his loss. This is my small way of demonstrating the love I hold for this artist.” ~Raven Pennyfeather

Marcopol Oh

“Alexander McQueen liked to use metallic pieces and waspies as accessories, the cross is also something that remind me of McQueen.” ~Marcopol Oh

“This piece was created to remind and honor Alexander McQueen’s vision that fashion is all about renewal. Boldly taking something simple into an entirely new level with black reptilian leathers and shoulder pads.” ~Magnifico Miggins

The charity sale runs through the end of March and each design can be found at the respective designers mainstore with 100% of the funds going to Keep a Child Alive.
