3636 & Alatiel have Love for McQueen

Each day over the next two weeks we will post images of the many designs created for this special tribute to Alexander McQueen.  Not only as an inside look onto this project but to share the heartfelt inspirations provided by each designer in memory of a legend.

Designed by dianny3636 Aeon endearingly entitled “You Will Be In My Heart”.

“Once i heard about McQueen’s death….I felt sad,  a big shock on reality.  McQueen’s vision and his designs opened doors to many young designers who were trying so hard to express there fasion sense but weren’t accepted by societys rules.  Myself included as one of those designers although only within SL.  McQueen has opened countless ways for me to express my point of view and not let any rules or restrictions get in my way.”

“My inspiration for this design was McQueen himself, he’s in a better place now…resting.  I employed white roses and ruffles to get a very simple yet unique creation.  Long beautiful sculpted tail, open back, with a beautiful black leather belt to simbolize McQueen’s edginess. I hope you enjoy this dress and it will help you remember Alexander McQueen as what he was a fabulous, unique, great, amazing and above all else top designer.” ~dianny3636  Aeon

Alatiel Fashions

Kaleidoscope by Alatiel Malies

“Kaleidoscope draws it’s inspiration and takes its name from the psychedelic shapes and colors of McQueen’s designs. Unconventional prims coupled to the simplicity of geometric textures make it a stylish and elegant ensemble perfect for Spring cocktails and afternoons out.” ~Alatiel Malies

The charity sale runs through the end of March and each design can be found at the respective designers mainstore with 100% of the funds going to Keep a Child Alive.
