So, Christmas is coming, its end of the month soon which means tier time *sighs* and money really is, too tight to mention – so what do you do ? Recycle – it is one of my favourite things to do with my inventory, turning old into new and bringing things bang up to date with your own lil’ twist – and this is exactly what i have done here. The skirt, was actually one of the first items i bought with linden dollars in SL way back in 2007 from Canimal! I’ve mixed it up with some not so older items and a few newer pieces to make it work well. The texture still rocks with this skirt after all this time, as does the sweet cutesy flexi movement of the skirt and petticoats.

Newly released, these are real ink tattoo’s and to see them is to want them, to wear them is to love them. Of course i wanted to show it off, so i finally grabbed this awesome leather jacket from Grasp, just enough to cover what needed to be covered yet enough to show off what was important ;o)

Something Wicked, produced by AVENUE, was without question the Halloween Fashion Show of the year. The event kicked off the SL holiday celebration and was unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

Guests came dressed in their favorite costumes and were escorted through the eerie darkness complete with skulls and ghosts, to their respective graves by Grim Reapers. Then from their coffins, they were treated to spine-tingling and bone chilling fashions from some of SL’s most talented costume designers. Fashions featured in this powerhouse production included creative designs from Eclipse, Evie’s Closet, EXXESS Designs, Diorsis Hair Design, Here Comes Trouble, Lourdes Laysan, Masquerade Parade, Nikita Fride, SkinTight, Smooth Designs, and Violator.

AVENUE CEO Rusch Raymaker in VIOLATOR

The visual effects of the phenomenal set were only enhanced by the haunting melodies prepared by AVENUE’s very own CEO Rusch Raymaker as the lovely AVENUE Models presented an array of designs that would suit just about every taste.

First up, were adorable costumes for the little ones provided by Here Comes Trouble and featured fashion forward updates to traditional costumes. Never before have witches, bumblebees and pumpkins looked so trendy and cute.

Smooth Designs and Masquerade Parade offered looks for fashionistas who dress to impress and seek realistic designs that are unique, stylish, and highly detailed.

Lovers of haute couture were treated to the innovative creations of Violator. Finally, hair and skin designs provided by Diorsis Hair Designs and SkinTight contributed to the wickedness of the looks presented.

I felt extremely lucky after covering the recent Modavia Fashion Week for AVENUE Magazine recently, because if it wasn’t for that, i’d have never (ok, i concede “maybe” lol) came across the fashion label of  Kunglers Couture. Watching their show blew me away and i just knew i had to go and discover more, so i paid a visit to their store and came away with a few tasty treats including this amazingly detailed and delicious formal evening gown. To wear is to appreciate, i cannot wait to put this on again, i just need to find someone to dance with now lol *skips off into the sunset*.

I visited the Jewellery Fair this week and whilst i was there, i came across some of the most exquisite pieces, some of which i probably will rarely use, some i wont be able to take off but amongst them all i found three pieces from three different designers – i’m featuring these today in my lil outfit i have put together.

The actual ‘Dress’ itself is actually a corset by Insolence and skirt by Digit Darkes that i have had for some time. The outfit is brought bang up to date with the jewellery pieces and finished off with one of the best female goth skin’s in SL by Damiani.
